Mathematical Skills 2 uses engaging activities and games to help children become familiar with early mathematics concepts including picture and number patterns, shapes, estimating and comparing. They also learn to count and write numbers 1-150 in this book. Procedure for teaching Always give enough time to each child to observe a new page and talk freely about it. Guide the child to discover the concepts introduced and taught, through his own active exploration of materials available to him/her. Repeat pages, if you discover a need to do so – to enhance better understanding. Follow up any work in the book with personal-guided works in drawing books, colouring books, etc. in order to make pupils familiar with and master the topic learnt in this book.
