Cultural and Creative Arts for Primary Schools is a course of six books written to ensure that the
pupils are equipped with the knowledge about moral values, ideas, activities and culture of
their immediate environment to ensure brilliant performance in school and public examinations.
The book has been packaged and designed in line with the new NERDC curriculum with the
following aims:
(i) to achieve the purpose of the Universal Basic Education in training the future champions
of our country, Nigeria;
(ii) to equip the young generation of Nigeria with essential life skills, to make them independent;
(iii) to improve peoples’ attitude and orientation towards social and economic issues, for
the development of the Nigerian society; and
(iv) to promote cultural heritage and creativity.
